GameRoom Invaders PartI: Kris-Seeburg

Every first friday of the month Bingovit invades a gameroom to show  you the people behind it. Pictures and videomaterial tied together with a short interview with the GameRoomers themselves is what you can expect!

For this firt review I visited the GameRoom from Kris-Seeburg. Kris-seeburg's GameRoom is being played by himself and his wife but also by their son Thomas. All three are a big fan off the "silverball" but also from the fifties, diner and jukeboxes and more. You can feel this atmosphere when you're on your way to the GameRoom through their kitchen which is dressed with Diner stuff and jukeboxes. In the GameRoom there's also a cosy table with diner seats from Cocal Cola! In the GameRoom there is no empty spot on the wall cause everywhere you look there are flyers, promoplastics, posters from the pinball or the movie and more!

They don't only take an interest in playing these machines but also for other aspects from the hobby. Every year they are a part off the organisators from the Belgian Pinball Championship(BFK), which finds place every year at the Collector Fantasies in the Nekkerhal at Mechelen.

So now we start with the first part of our reportage which is the interview.

B: What's the first machine you remember playing?

First memory were pinballs on state fairs.

Kris:This used to be most EM games and a few electronic ones, that's when I probably first played Kiss too.

B: Which was the first pinball machine you've bought and do you have it still?

My first pinball I bought was a Diner from Williams. I've sold this one when my collection got bigger. I regretted this move and bought a nicer one which I still have today and you can see it clearly on your way to the GameRoom.

This machine was placed very well in the Diner style kitchen!

B: Which pinball machine is your favorite and why?

There's no real favorite, we like to play at many pinballs and the favorites changes every now and then.

B: Which pinball would you like to buy?

A Roadshow in good condition, but sadly enough we're out of space...

B: Which coinop machines also take your interest besides pinball? Do you have any of these?

Jukeboxes!!! For the moment I have two, an Ami 100I and a Seeburg HF100R with connected and fully working wallbox.

Also fifities stuff keeps our interest which you can clealry see in our kitchen.

B: And to  close this interview one last question If you could only have one pinbal machine, which one would you choose?
